In addition to their great selection of books, they also have a large section in the back of the store with music, including vinyl, and all sorts of collectibles. They have a cafe that is licensed to serve Starbucks, but note that you cannot use a Starbucks account to pay. Great cafe with plenty of seating and power outlets.
Quality Barnes & Noble! Lovely patio outside the café, and have never had problems finding parking despite it being close to the Summit Trader Joe's. Café can get a bit busy, but have never needed to wait more than 15 minutes. For those coming from 280, take the first right and then an immediate left when entering the Summit to go the back way around P. F. Chang's. DO NOT take this way to return to 280, however; a left turn back onto Summit Blvd at that traffic light can be almost impossible when traffic is heavy (and it almost always is at the Summit).
My son got the books that he wanted and a couple that he didn't know he wanted. Lol. The store is massive, clean, friendly, and very welcoming. It was a good experience for both of us.
So glad this bookstore seems to be doing well! Love stopping by whether by myself or with my daughter. They have an impressive Harry Potter display along with various merchandise. The Children’s books area is lovely and very inviting. The coffee shop/cafe has lots of seating and serves Starbucks coffee. I love the substantial amount of guided journals they carry. I bought one, but all the others seem very interesting as well. There is also a large manga section and I’m impressed they don’t shy away from displaying the more risqué titles out on tables.
My sister and I drove 3 hours to visit this specific location for an Xdinary Heroes pop-up. They had a great setup with freebies and we even spent some time speaking with Ken about k-pop. This experience will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you guys!

Great selection, atmosphere with the Starbucks Cafe, personnel staff. I really enjoyed the friendliness / customer service especially when selecting a product that was recommended and aligned with my desired preferences. Definitely as customer service across industries continues to decline, nicely done by Barnes & Noble to hire talent who align culturally and enjoy the work. Great place also to stop by and work in a coworking space. The cafe is nicely kept and is Starbucks so individuals can enjoy a nice book or get productive. Barnes and Nobles at the Summit has a special place in my heart because my wife used to study for her board exam 20 years ago. I visited it when I was in town after 29 years ans it still is great.
Barnes & Noble is one of my favorite stops, especially when I've got Grim, Carrie, and Ember with me. Those three absolutely love this place, and somehow they always manage to find exactly what they're looking for. Watching them disappear into the horror section and come back excited with another stack of books is worth the trip every time. On this visit, I got to treat all three of them to new books, and seeing how happy it made them was the best part of the day. The store is always clean, well organized, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable whenever we need help tracking something down. If you're a reader, especially a horror fan, Barnes & Noble is hard to beat.
